AJ & J’s Christmas Light Extravaganza & Donation Drive: Nov 24 – Dec 27

AJ & J’s Christmas Light Extravaganza is an animated Christmas light display with over 30,000+ lights synchronized to some of your favorite Christmas music along with a few newer and more comical songs. Their display is one way they can help spread the Christmas cheer to the public and in hopes, put a smile on everyone’s face both young and young at heart!

During their show or anytime during the day, they would like to ask of you to bring in a donation to help out local needy families and Outreach East (our local food pantry). Donations can be in the form of toys, food, household goods, toiletries, cash, gift cards, hats, coats, gloves, boots (new-good condition) or anything you think a family in need could use! Monetary donations may also be made. Let’s join together and let people in the world know that there are people out there that really do still care!

This wonderful show is located at corner of North Oak and Davison Rd. .. just follow the lights!

Christmas “Adopt a Child” Sponsors Needed!

Please Note : We will start contacting sponsors near the end of October or first of November to start matching children up with sponsors after we receive enough applications for holiday assistance .

We are currently looking for folks who would like to sponsor a child (or more than one) and businesses, churches, and service groups who would like to sponsor an Outreach East family for Christmas gifts.

If you’d like to help, please fill out the form below as soon as possible, to let us know the sex & age of the child(ren) you’d like to sponsor so we can match you up with a child right away. If you have questions, please call us at (810) 653-7711.

This year, we are also asking for donations of gift cards for the teenagers, for stores such as Meijer, Walmart, Target, etc. — stores that have a large variety of items. Higher value gift cards for stores such as Kohl’s will be redeemed at the store by our volunteer staff, to purchase items for the families. Thank you!

Adopt a Child Ends 11/30/2023 – You can still make a donation.

After 11/30/23 we cannot sponsor out any more children online because we only have 9 more working days to fulfill the orders. We appreciate everyone’s support this year in shopping for children and making their Christmas so special. If you have not brought in your presents yet, please do so asap, as a child is waiting.

Holiday Assistance -App

Only ONE application per family. Application must be received by 11/21/2023!

To apply for Holiday Assistance –

1–You must be a client of Outreach East and information must be up to date. You may update your account online or apply to be a new client online (click here.) or in person. As a new client, You MUST come in and show actual social security cards of all kids and driver’s license before your app will be processed.

2–If you submit a holiday application to Outreach East, you MAY NOT apply to any other agency providing holiday assistance such as the Salvation Army, church or private groups (with the exception of the Old Newsboys organization).If a family does sign up with multiple agencies, Outreach East will remove their name from the client list and the family will not be eligible for any future services through Outreach East and may be disqualified from other agencies as well.

3–Holiday Assistance Application forms are available for families with students in the Davison School Districts.

4-When filling out the “Gift Ideas” section, please be as specific as possible when describing the gifts your children would like regarding the type of gift, the size and color, the kind of age-appropriate toy, etc.
