Meijer Holiday Simply Give Campaign Starts 10/03/2023

One in ten Americans face food insecurity nationwide and our community continues to feel its impact. More and more members of our community are turning to us for help in ensuring they know where their next meal will come from Outreach East Food Pantry has seen a continued demand in the last year and the resulting economic impact of our nation continues to bring great need and challenges to our community.
In response, we’re pleased to announce that Outreach East has joined forces with the Meijer Simply Give relief program during this difficult time to help fill that void for our local families.
Outreach East Food Pantry will benefit from donation cards purchased at the Davison Meijer store (8089 Lapeer Rd, Davison, Mi 48423) now through Dec. 30.
When you donate through Simply Give at Meijers or online when your order groceries (just search simply give and add card) Meijer converts those dollars into food cards that we can use to purchase food for our clients need through the Business-to-Business ordering at a lower cost.
And when we give, Meijer gives. For every $10 Simply Give donation card purchased on Sat. Dec. 16, Meijer will DOUBLE match the contribution, meaning they will donate an additional $20. This means our pantry will receive a total of $30 for every $10 a customer purchases on that day.
