You&#8217;ll be able to see first hand how your efforts help those in your area that are in need of some of most basic things in life , such as food , clothing , a helping hand, a referral for additional help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost all the people that work at Outreach East( over 42 people  and counting) are volunteers, giving everyday of themselves to help others in the community. What a great feeling at the end of the day.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the activities you may be involved in <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filling food orders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sorting  and stocking donated food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sorting and folding, hanging clothing items <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tracking inventory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helping with newsletter mailings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>filing, entering things into the computer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>answering the phone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>greeting people and directing them to our services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintenance  and cleaning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>office work, filing , computer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting our services and seeking donations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>helping with awesome special events like Thunder for Hunger,
