Four Ways to Make a Difference:
Each year Outreach East assists approximately four hundred children with Christmas gifts and approximately 500 holiday dinners for those in need. During these struggling times of inflation and recouping from the pandemic even more people are having a hard time making ends meet. With the help of all of you, together we can make a difference in the life of a child and family this year during these struggling times.
Choose how you want to make a difference –
Adopt A Child
Starting approximately Oct 15, 2024 You can start adopting a child for Christmas. You or we can select a child (children) and you receive a card with the first name and ideas and sizes
You do the shopping and return the unwrapped gifts to Outreach East for processing by Dec. 2nd,2024
General rule maximum of about $ 75.00 per child. Our Intention is to supplement their Christmas and is not the Christmas.
Dinner Includes:
Start the morning with pancakes and syrup, Meat – Turkey or Whole Chicken or Ham, Mashed potatoes and Gravy, Stuffing
Biscuits… Plus, regular food order to include Milk, Eggs, Corn, Mac & Cheese, Soup, Spaghetti and more…
Provide a Holiday Dinner
Yes, we take donations of meat and food products! You can certainly drop of food donations during our open hours.
Or perhaps you prefer to simply donate the whole dinner for a family in need. Our cost this year is $45.00 and you can provide a holiday dinner for the whole family. Simply click the blue button to give a family a holiday to remember!
This year we expect approximately 500-600 families, so your help is greatly appreciated.
If you prefer, you can also just simply make a donation to Outreach East that will be used to support the many different programs that we have as an emergency resource center.
Outreach east is solely supported by some grants but mostly donations from individuals and local businesses and fundraisers and the many volunteers it takes to provide this level of service to the communities for the past 30+ years.
